At New Hope, we're always excited to welcome new visitors! We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our 10:00 AM service.
Our church is located at 1730 Vintage St. in Kissimmee, Florida. When you turn down our road, you will probably think you are in the wrong place. But do not fear! We are down Vintage on the right hand side.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church- we are pretty casual. You don't need to dress up to get God's approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
At the door, you will find one of our greeters and they will welcome you with a smile. They can help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have kids. They can also point you to the restrooms. If you are running late, they can even help you find a seat. If you have any questions about the service itself, they would love to provide helpful answers.
During the service, we will sing some songs, pray, and listen to the pastor preach a sermon based on a passage from God's Word. We will have an offering, but you shouldn't feel any pressure to give. If you have children, they are welcome to stay with you throughout the service. However, we do have a children's service in another room where they will play games, create crafts, and hear their own Bible lesson. We invite the kids to follow the children's director to this class after our singing and offering (we like seeing them watch their parents worship Jesus!) We also have a nursery available for children under 4 years old.
We would love for you to stay after the service and meet our pastor and many other people in the church. (But no pressure!) We'd love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come. We also have coffee and donuts available before the 10:00 service!
